Poeter began as a dream more than ten years ago. A dream of a place where sustainability, quality, and responsibility weren't things a customer had to search for – but were simply a given.

The idea was to create a universe defined by presence, personal service, and carefully selected products for children. Part of the inspiration comes from a childhood memory of a small shop in Vejle, where the founder’s great-grandmother sold freshly ground coffee, sweets, and other delicacies – a place where quality, care, and great service went hand in hand.

The original dream was to create a physical space, and that is how it began in the autumn of 2022. While the wish for a brick-and-mortar shop still lives on, Poeter primarily evolved into an online universe. This allowed us to reach families across Denmark – and today, customers throughout the rest of the world.

At Poeter, you will find curated children’s clothing and products, selected with care. We believe in fewer, but better things – products that are built to last, feel soft against the skin, and can be passed down from child to child.
